Growth techniques
  • Electron beam evaporation (E-beam), sputtering, pulsed laser deposition (PLD), molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)

    Field-modulation FMR (FM FMR) and vector network analysor FMR (VNA FMR) setups are in our disposal. Furthermore, low temperatures FMR measurements are possible up to liquid He temperatures.

    Equipment: Oxford Kelvinox MX 250 dilution refrigerator + Variable temperature insert: Kelvinox MX 250 is a wet dilution refrigerator designed for integration into magnetic and scientific cryogenic environments. The base temperature obtained for the system we have in our laboratory was <18mK with a cooling power >300 µW at 100mK. The cryostat is equipped with super conducting magnet that can generate magnetic field up to 10T. There is also a VTI which works in temperature range of 300K -1.2K
